Specifications

The box spring features a non-slip section and a wooden frame with 300 pocket springs per m². 

Two single mattresses are included on top of the box spring. The mattresses have 275 pocket springs per m². Our mattress has 7 zones and is the main focus for optimal lying comfort in the hip, back, shoulder, and head zones. We recommend the standard mattress for weights up to 120 kg.

The topper is a double topper made entirely of cold foam. Cold foam ensures excellent ventilation and optimal resilience. Because the topper provides ventilation, it is ideal for cool and hygienic sleeping comfort. Additionally, the topper is completely anti-allergic.

The headboard consists of five panels with a sturdy wooden base and is upholstered with your chosen fabric, providing a luxurious and stylish appearance. The panel design gives the headboard an elegant and high-quality finish that perfectly complements a modern and chic bedroom.

✓ The headboard typically extends approximately 10 cm on both sides of the box spring.
✓ Prefer a headboard that is flush with the box spring? That is also possible. Please indicate this with your order.

Delivery and assembly

We’re happy to take care of everything for you. Your new Van der Valk Basic Boxspring will not only be delivered to your home free of charge, but also assembled by our professionals right in your bedroom. That way, you can start enjoying your new bed right away.

  • Delivery time: Approximately 6 weeks.
  • The Netherlands: Free delivery and assembly (except for the Wadden Islands: delivery to the depot on the mainland only).
  • Belgium: A €50 shipping surcharge applies for delivery in Belgium.

Headboard doesn’t fit through the stairwell?
If the headboard cannot be brought inside via the stairwell, the supplier will have to take the headboard back to convert it into a 2-piece headboard. A new appointment will then be made for delivery & assembly. Additional costs apply for this. This surcharge will be invoiced separately. (These costs may be higher than if a 2-piece headboard is selected immediately when ordering the bed.).

Bed doesn’t fit through the stairwell?
If the bed does not fit upstairs via the stairwell, it will be delivered to the ground floor. In that case, the owner is responsible for carrying the bed upstairs and assembling it.
