What is the difference between a regular bed and a hotel box spring?

A hotel box spring is specially designed for optimal sleeping comfort. Unlike a standard bed, a hotel box spring consists of several comfortable layers that together provide optimal support, stability, and a luxurious sleep experience.

The Van der Valk hotel box springs are constructed with a base featuring pocket springs, combined with a mattress with pocket springs and 7 comfort zones. This provides optimal support for the body at various pressure points and gives you the comfortable sleeping sensation characteristic of a hotel stay. The addition of a topper also provides extra softness, ventilation, and comfort.

In addition to sleeping comfort, hotel box springs also offer a luxurious appearance, giving your rooms the look of a real hotel suite.

Can I also subscribe as a small business?

Valk Store also works with small-scale accommodations such as B&Bs, boutique hotels, holiday homes, and short-stay rental providers. Even with smaller order volumes, we are happy to help think along about a suitable sleep solution that matches your wishes.

Can I also place an order from abroad?

Yes, it is possible to place an order from abroad. Delivery options vary by product category.

Box springs

  • The Netherlands: We deliver and assemble your box spring free of charge throughout the Netherlands. For deliveries to the Wadden Islands, we deliver your order to a depot on the mainland. You will need to arrange onward transport to the island yourself.
  • Belgium: Delivery in Belgium is also possible. A shipping surcharge applies, which includes assembly.
  • Other countries: At the moment, we do not deliver box springs directly outside the Netherlands and Belgium. Do you live in another country? In that case, we can have your order delivered to a depot in the Netherlands, after which you can arrange onward transport yourself.

Mattresses and toppers

  • The Netherlands: Mattresses and toppers are delivered to your home free of charge. For deliveries to the Wadden Islands, we deliver your order to a depot on the mainland. You will need to arrange onward transport to the island yourself.
  • Belgium: Delivery in Belgium is possible for an additional shipping fee.
  • Other countries: We do not deliver mattresses and toppers directly outside the Netherlands and Belgium. However, we can deliver your order to a depot in the Netherlands, after which you can collect it yourself.

  • The Netherlands: Free shipping on orders over €45,-.
  • Belgium: €12,95 shipping costs.

Can the box spring also be pulled apart?

Yes, our box springs can be separated. However, we only recommend this for box springs without a headboard. The headboard is made as a single piece, which means the bases cannot be easily separated.

This is possible with our box springs without a headboard. Please note that you will need two separate mattresses and/or toppers to use the bases individually.
