What is the difference between Valk Store, Valk at Home, Valk shop and Valk for Home?

Valk Store was established by Van der Valk Service Center and sells recognizable Van
der Valk products, which are used in at least 40% of Van der Valk hotels
become.

Valk at Home is also called Valk Design, they focus on

Valk Shop falls under Valk International and is exclusively engaged in supermarkets

How can I return my order?

Are you not satisfied with the delivered product? Below you will find our return conditions per product.

General terms and conditions

  • The item is not used, slept in, or damaged.
  • The item must be in the original packaging.
  • The shipping costs for returning a package are at your own expense. These amount to €4.95 for regular products. For Affordable Outdoor Deals You pay €6.95. Returns from abroad cost €7.95.
  • Returns are possible within 14 days after delivery.

Beds, mattresses and toppers
Our beds, mattresses, and toppers are put into production after the order is placed, so it is not possible to return these products. If the bed or bed components have any defects, you can contact the support department of Valk Store via support@valkstore.nl, 088-0246333 or fill in the contact form in.

Exchange
It is not possible to exchange the order. If you want a different product, you can return your order (provided you meet the return conditions) and then place a new order.

Return packages that have not been registered cannot be processed. Additionally, the address mentioned on our website is not suitable for returns and visits.

If you meet the return conditions, you can contact us via thecontact form You will then receive a message with additional information including the return label. The amount (excluding return costs) will be refunded to your account after we have received the return shipment.

How can I sign up for trial sleeping?

Would you like to buy a bed but are unsure if it meets your requirements? You can choose to try sleeping in one of our Van der Valk hotels. You can submit the trial sleep request via  support@valkstore.nlor fill in thecontact form in.

When you go for a trial sleep, you can book the available rates and packages through the website of the respective hotel. You will receive the trial sleep discount when you book at one of the hotels from the list below, regardless of the package, date of stay, or room type. If you have booked an overnight stay at one of these hotels, please provide us with the reservation number in advance so that we can inform the hotel. If you wish to purchase the bed after your stay, you will receive part of the overnight stay back in the form of a €100 discount on the beds. The trial sleep discount is not valid in combination with other discount codes.

I saw a piece of furniture in a Van der Valk Hotel, where can I buy it?

Is the desired item not available in the Valk Store? Because the hotels
self-managing, they choose their own suppliers. For this reason, we recommend
to get in direct contact with the hotel.

Additionally, it may be that Valk at Home has what you are looking for. They can be found atvalk-at-home.nl or reachable via +31 33 2990314.

Why have I only received part of my order?

When an order has been placed with multiple products, it may be that these
are shipped from different suppliers and for this reason not
will be delivered together. You will receive a track & trace link to follow the order.

I have a full loyalty card from a supermarket/gas station. Where can I redeem it?

I have received a discount code, but the code does not work in the shopping cart.

Sorry to hear that the discount code is not working. There can be several reasons for this:

What is the delivery time of the bed?

The average delivery time for the beds is currently 6 weeks. The supplier takes
after 6 weeks, I will contact you to make a delivery appointment. Beds,
Mattresses and toppers are only delivered in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Is the bed also available in sizes other than those offered in the webshop?

Do you have special requests or different sizes? Please contact us via thecontact form, the purchase of the product is done via a quotation instead of through the webshop. We are always happy to explore the possibilities with you.

Yes, we provide a sample service to help you make your decision. We recommend that before you order or approve the quote for a bed, mattress, and/or topper, you use our fabric sample service to ensure you know exactly which color you are ordering. There may be color differences between the images in the Valk Store and the actual fabric.All information

If you do not use the fabric sample service, you can
comments about color differences between the delivered product and your
expectations based on the image will not be processed. This applies
also for color differences that may result from lighting or
other environmental factors.

What is the warranty policy for the beds?

Our beds, mattresses, and toppers are put into production after ordering, so it is not possible to return these products. If your bed or bed components have any defects, you can contact the support department of Valk Store.

If any imperfections occur, the following CBM apply
terms:

  • For complaints identified within one year of purchase due to manufacturing defects, we provide a full warranty.
  • Within 2 years from the date of purchase, 2/3 of the costs of repair and/or replacement are at our expense, within 3 years this is 1/3.
  • Warranty applies only if and provided that the item has been used correctly. Damage caused by moisture and normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty.

We recommend that before you order a bed, mattress, and/or topper or approve the quote, you use our fabric sample service to ensure you know which color you are ordering. There may be color differences between the images in the Valk Store and the actual fabric. All information about the fabric swatch service can be found here.

If you do not use the fabric sample service, comments about color differences between the delivered product and your expectations based on the image cannot be processed. This also applies to color differences that may result from lighting or other environmental factors.

Can I return a bed?

What are the dimensions of the bed?

The bed parts have different dimensions, as listed below:

  • Bed legs: 6 centimeters (option for alternative bed legs)
  • Box spring: 30 centimeters
  • Mattress: 18 centimeters
  • Topper: 10 centimeters
  • Height headboard: 110 centimeters
  • Width of headboard: 10 centimeters extra from the bed
  • Complete standard bed: 64 centimeters

Can the back panel be delivered as wide as the bed? 

Yes, the back panel can be produced to be as wide as the bed. We would like to receive your order number so that we can coordinate with the supplier to ensure the back panel is made as wide as the bed. It is also possible to have the back panel delivered in two parts. This involves an additional charge of €60.50. You will receive a separate invoice for this.

Is it possible to choose 2 x single toppers in the set, instead of 1 x double topper?

Yes, it is possible to choose a single-person topper twice in the set, in
place of one double topper. We would like to hear your order number, so that we can ensure with the supplier that the correct composition of the bed is delivered to you with two single toppers. Please provide your order number viasupport@valkstore.nlor fill in thecontact form in.

Do the beds have storage space?

No, in our webshop we sell the beds as they can also be found in our hotels, so without storage space. If you are interested in a bed with storage space, please contact us via thecontact form We will look at the possibilities with you through a quote request.

What is the hardness of the mattress?

Our mattresses are standard medium, but they can also be ordered in an extra firm variant. No additional costs are charged for this.

What is the weight class of the mattress?

We recommend our medium mattresses for up to 120 kilograms. For weights over 120 kilograms, we suggest using our firm mattresses.

Is this mattress also available in a firm variant?

Can we still return the mattress?

Is there a trial period for the mattress?

We do not work with trial periods for the mattresses. However, we do have the option for trial sleeping or to view/test the mattresses in the showroom.

Are the mattresses also comfortable without a topper?

The mattresses are also comfortable without a topper (as long as they are not upholstered). However, we always recommend choosing a topper for extra protection of your bed/mattress. Upholstered mattresses cannot be used without a topper.

How many pocket springs does the mattress have? And the firm mattress?

Our mattresses, both the firm variant and the medium variant, have 275 pocket springs per m2. The difference in firmness comes from the foam used in the mattresses.

Is the mattress also available in sizes other than those offered in the webshop?

What is the function of a mattress topper and is it really necessary?

A topper provides protection for your bed and mattress. Additionally, it offers extra sleeping comfort. A topper is not essential, but it is recommended.

Is this topper also suitable for an adjustable base?

Unfortunately, we do not have split toppers available in our webshop. For this reason, a double topper will not be suitable for an adjustable base. However, it is certainly possible to use two single toppers.

What is the filling of the topper?

The topper has a cold foam topper and fits very well on the pocket spring mattresses from our webshop.

I slept in Van der Valk hotel x, is this the same main pillow?

It is difficult for us to check which pillow you slept on during your stay, as multiple pillows are used per hotel. The pillows in our webshop are currently used by most hotels and are of very good quality. If you have a photo of the label, we can check which pillow this was.

What is the difference in the pillows?

Duvets

What is the difference between the duvets?

It can sometimes be difficult to see what exactly the difference is between the duvets. We have 4 different types:

  1. Comfort 4-season duvet: this is a slightly thinner duvet than the other 3 duvets.
  2. Suite 4-season duvet: this is a duvet that is very light and airy. So almost no weight falls around you. Good quality.
  3. 4-season duvet 2-piece: this is a duvet that consists of 2 parts; a summer part and an autumn part. These can be clicked together using snap buttons to form a winter duvet.
  4. Ecodown synthetic down duvet: this is a duvet with a down filling. This is very good quality and is found in most hotels. This duvet "crackles" as many people call it. It falls very well around the body and is slightly heavier than the suite duvet. This duvet is found in most hotels.

What duvet is in the hotels?

How does it work with the heat class?

Heat class 1 is the warmest and thickest. Heat class 4 is thinner and colder. So the lower the number, the warmer the duvet.

Can the duvets still be returned?

The duvets can still be returned as long as they have not been slept on and are still in the original packaging. The return cost is 4.95 euros.
