ORDER

When you have found the product you want, you can add it to the shopping cart and pay via our online checkout. All prices quoted include VAT. After we have received your order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail.

Unsure about the material or color of the product when ordering a bed? We are happy to send fabric samples so you can view them at home. It is also possible to make an appointment at the showroom of our supplier. The showroom is located in Tilburg and can be visited by appointment only.

Quotation
It is possible to place an order on the basis of a quotation request. Via the contact form you can indicate which products you would like to order and which specifications apply. A quotation can only be requested for beds/boxsprings, mattresses, toppers or a business order to a foreign country with shifted VAT.

CANCEL

We do our best to process and ship ordered products as quickly as possible. Therefore, cancellations are no longer possible once an order has been processed for shipment.

Beds/box springs, mattresses and toppers are produced to order and to measure. Cancellation is possible up to 1 week after placing the order. After that the product is in production and the order can no longer be cancelled.

DELIVER

We deliver beds/box springs, mattresses and toppers only within the Netherlands (deliveries to the Wadden Islands are made up to the depot on the mainland) and Vlaarderen.

Our other products are delivered in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, France and Spain.

Delivery times

Beds
The average delivery time for beds is 6 weeks.

For custom-made items, it may happen that one of the parts is not immediately available for delivery. In that case, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Sample service
The average delivery time for the sample service is 3 to 7 working days.

Mattresses and toppers
The following applies to mattresses and toppers from 180x200 cm:

  • Delivery time: Approximately 3 weeks.
  • The Netherlands: Free delivery (excluding the Wadden Islands: delivery to the depot on the mainland).
  • Belgium: A shipping surcharge of €50 applies for delivery in Belgium.

The following applies to mattresses and toppers up to 160x210 cm and all sizes of the Van der Valk Topper - Classic:

  • Delivery time: 5-7 working days
  • The Netherlands: Free delivery
  • Belgium: A shipping surcharge of €50 applies for delivery in Belgium.

Bedding, bed linen and bath textiles
The average delivery time for bedding, bed linen and bath textiles is 2 to 3 working days.

Valk Giftcard
The average delivery time for Van der Valk Giftcards is 3-5 working days within the Netherlands and 5-7 working days abroad.

Valk E-Giftcard
Van der Valk E-Giftcards are processed on working days within 24 hours and sent to the specified email address.

Shipping costs

Beds/box springs, mattresses and toppers
For deliveries within the Netherlands we do not charge delivery costs. For deliveries in Belgium a surcharge of €50,00 applies. Delivery to the Wadden Islands is made to the depot on the mainland.

Note: If you are not at home at the agreed delivery time, a new appointment will be scheduled for which an additional charge of €75,- will be charged.

Headboard does not fit through the stairwell?
If the headboard cannot be brought inside via the stairwell, the supplier will need to take it back to modify it into a two-piece headboard. A new appointment will then be scheduled for delivery and installation. Additional costs apply, which will be invoiced separately. (These costs may be higher than if a two-piece headboard had been selected at the time of ordering the bed.)

Our supplier delivers the headboard exclusively via the stairwell and not through a window.

Bed does not fit through the stairwell?
If the bed cannot be brought upstairs via the stairwell, it will be delivered to the ground floor only. In that case, the owner is responsible for moving the bed upstairs and assembling it.

Our supplier delivers the bed exclusively via the stairwell and not through a window.

Bedding, bed linen and bath textiles
For deliveries of bedding, bed linen and bath textiles within the Netherlands we charge €4,95. For deliveries outside the Netherlands the shipping costs are €12,95. For orders of €45,- or more within the Netherlands no shipping costs are charged, unless otherwise stated.

Valk Giftcard
For deliveries of physical Valk Giftcards, regardless of value, within the Netherlands we charge €5,95. For deliveries outside the Netherlands €7,95 is charged. The shipping costs for Valk Giftcards are not waived when their value exceeds €45,-.

Valk E-Giftcard
For orders of Valk E-Giftcards no shipping costs are charged.

RETURNING

At Valk Store, you have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of delivery. This is the statutory right of withdrawal. Please note that the conditions may vary per promotion; always consult our specific promotional terms and conditions page.

Return conditions
A return will be accepted if the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, not slept on, and undamaged;
  • The item is in its original packaging;
  • It is clear who the return package is from;
  • If you are returning a product due to unexpected defects, you must have contacted the Valk Store support department in advance. 

The return costs are at the customer's own expense. The return costs are €4,95.

Exception to the right of withdrawal
Returns are not possible for: 

  • Beds;
  • Mattresses, toppers, and headboards ordered with a bed;
  • Mattresses and toppers in custom sizes.

How do you return a product?

  1. Register your return via support@valkstore.nl within 14 days of receipt. 
  2. You will receive instructions and (if applicable) a return label and return address.
  3. Send the product within 14 days of registering your return.
  4. Keep the proof of shipment until your return has been processed. 

We cannot process returns that have not been registered.

Refund
We will refund the purchase amount as soon as possible, no later than 14 days after withdrawal, provided that the product has been received or you can demonstrate that it has been returned. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used to pay, unless you expressly agree to a different method. If you return the entire order, the standard shipping costs of the original shipment will also be refunded. Any additional costs for non-standard shipping options will not be refunded. You may handle and inspect the product as you would be allowed to do in a physical store. For more extensive use and in the event of damage caused by careless use, we may charge for any loss in value.

Exchanges
Exchanges are not possible. Return your order (if permitted under the conditions) and place a new order. Please note that return costs and shipping costs are at your own expense.

WARRANTY ON BEDS, MATTRESSES AND TOPPERS

The manufacturer's warranty applies to our beds, mattresses and toppers. That warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. The warranty does not apply if the product:

  • Has been used carelessly;
  • Has been exposed to abnormal conditions;
  • Has been repaired or altered by you or a third party;
  • Shows damage from moisture or normal wear and tear.

Colour and material
We recommend using our fabric sample service for orders. Colours on screens may differ from the actual fabric. Small colour variations due to screen settings, but also lighting, other environmental factors or batch differences can occur and are not considered a defect, unless there is a clear case of non-conformity.
